When we filmed this elevator at the Caravelle Towers, dad was thinking of having 2 of the characters in the novel stay at this hotel but in the end, he picked another hotel just a few blocks down from this particular hotel that fit it more with the setting of the scenes for the characters' stay at Myrtle Beach.
